iCarnatic is a not-for-profit organization formed for promoting Indian classical music, dance and arts through events, concerts, webcasts and educational support.

iCarnatic Summer Music and Dance Festival is scheduled on August 22 & 23, 2026. This year we are partnering with Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam as part of their 50th year celebrations.
The venue for the festival is Sai Samsthan USA, 1101 Foran Ln, Aurora, IL 60506
We welcome applications from ameteur artists in Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance forms to perform in the festival before May 15, 2026.

Internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher Leela Samson will be in Columbus, Ohio, from July 9 to August 17, 2026. She will be teaching and conducting classes for students and dancers of all levels. There will be a master class for advanced students and one specifically for dance teachers to continue improving their pedagogy.
During the Artist in Residence program, Leela will also be conducting sessions on training the mind as well as the body for dance, a discussion with parents on how to approach dance classes for their children, a lecdem about bharatanatyam and more.
The Artist in Residence Program will culminate in a dance performance by Leela Samson. She will also be presenting a lecture-demonstration.
